The Express Entry Immigration system of Canada continues to go down the slope. The latest draw has taken place on 8th February with the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) point cut-off being an all time low.
The invitation to apply (ITA) was sent to all the candidates who had 447 or more points on the CRS system. These people will now be in a position to apply for permanent residency of Canada. Seattle Mayor Ed Murray paid a visit to a local school, a day after Donald Trump was voted as the new president of United States. According to Ed Murray many of the students there are undocumented Latino who are upset by the new elected President. WWICS – MThis move was eagerly awaited by numerous permanent residents of Canada and potential applicants who want to immigrate to Canada. The government of Canada has finally announced that the maximum age of dependent children who can be included in a visa application will be raised to 22 years.
If this regulation is approved, it will be effective from fall 2017 and will be applicable on candidates who apply on or after the regulation come into force.
At present, the child of the principal applicant needs to be at or below the age of 19 in order to be accepted as a dependent, or be eligible for sponsorship by the principal applicant.
